Pride Passport
Statement of intent
- to give all students the opportunity to demonstrate their PRIDE values
- to promote extensive personal development of all pupils
- to give students access to a wide and rich set of experiences
- to give students opportunities to develop talents and interests
Rationale
- throughout the year, all students will have opportunities to demonstrate that they have displayed PRIDE values by completion of a range of activities under each banner
- promote the development of independence and ownership of actions
- enables students to collate achievements which will carry over from one year to the next, throughout key stages 3 & 4
- culmination of PRIDE Passport at Year 11 can be fed directly into the Record of Achievement
Organisation & Timeline
The Pride Passports will be launched in the Yr7 Assembly by Mr.Rolle and supported by tutors explaining the banners and the potential content that students can upload. This is student led, and there is no limit to the entries the students can record.. The completion of the passports is monitored through Google Classroom by the Tutor. At the end of the year students will complete a declaration form, which will formalise the record of achievement. (Google Form)
